Why are some matches not on TV?

About Hull City
Hull City was founded in June 1904 in a city where rugby league was the dominant sport, and the new club at first had to borrow rugby and cricket grounds for its matches. It entered the Football League's Second Division in 1905, moved to Boothferry Park after the Second World War and since 2002 has played at a council-owned stadium shared with Hull FC.
The amber and black stripes explain the Tigers nickname. Hull first reached the top flight in 2008 by beating Bristol City in the Wembley play-off final, lost the 2014 FA Cup final to Arsenal after extra time and played in Europe the following season. They contest the Humber derby with Grimsby Town and Scunthorpe United, and won another play-off final in 2026 to return to the Premier League.
