About Redcar Town
Redcar Town date from 1997, and a side of the same name played in the Wearside League from 1998 to 2003. The present men's team was formed in 2014 and placed in Division Two of the Teesside League, winning promotion in its first season, and moved into the North Riding League in 2017 when the Teesside League merged with the Eskvale & Cleveland League. The club was admitted to the Northern League Division Two in 2021 and entered the FA Vase for the first time in 2021/22. Home is the Mo Mowlam Memorial Park on Trunk Road, named after the former Redcar MP and known as the Neeform Stadium under a sponsorship deal.
The club won the Northern League Division Two in 2025/26 with 100 points from 42 matches, 32 of them wins, and went up with Yarm & Eaglescliffe. It plays in the Northern League Division One, the ninth tier, in 2026/27, its highest level yet. Redcar Town Ladies, formed in 2013, are part of the club and share the ground, and the town's other senior club, Redcar Athletic, plays two divisions higher in the Northern Premier League Premier Division.
