About Kidderminster Harriers
Kidderminster Harriers grew out of an athletics and rugby club that had existed since 1877, and played their first football match in September 1886, away at Wilden. After a season at Chester Road the club settled at Aggborough, its home ever since, where it staged the first floodlit FA Cup ties in 1951/52. It was a founder member of the Birmingham and District League in 1889, briefly merged with its neighbour Kidderminster Olympic in 1890, and joined the Southern League in 1948.
Harriers won the FA Trophy in 1987 and the Conference in 1994, when they were not promoted, and again in 2000, when Jan Mølby's side went up to the Football League. They spent five seasons there, finishing as high as tenth in 2002, before relegation in 2005. Relegated to the National League North in 2024, they finished third in 2025/26 and won the play-off final 2-0 at South Shields, so they play in the National League in 2026/27. Stourbridge, Hereford and Worcester City are among their local rivals.
