Why are some matches not on TV?

  • and 2 more

Which matches are still to be decided?

8 Southampton fixtures have no TV decision yet, the first being Sheffield Utd away on Tue 24 Nov. Broadcasters confirm their picks for each round a few weeks in advance, so any of these may still be chosen.

  • West Ham Home
  • and 4 more

Kick-off times are UK time. Updated every morning from the leagues' and broadcasters' own schedules, and through each match.

About Southampton

Southampton was founded in November 1885 by members of the young men's association at St Mary's Church, which is why the club is still known as the Saints. After spells as St Mary's and Southampton St Mary's, it settled on its current name, moved to The Dell in 1898 and won the Southern League six times before joining the Football League in 1920.

The club's main honour is the 1976 FA Cup, won as a Second Division side against Manchester United. Southampton first reached the top flight in 1966 and finished runners-up in 1984, during an unbroken spell there from 1978 to 2005. St Mary's Stadium replaced The Dell in 2001, the academy produced Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott, and Portsmouth are the main rivals.
